London based Battle are an indie-four piece with a sharp punky edge. They released their debut single ‘Isabelle’ in 2005 on Fierce Panda records before signing to Transgressive. Battle followed this up with singles ‘Demons’ and ‘Wicked Owl’. But it was ‘Tendency’ that first brought them to the attention of Radio 1 and BBC 6 music DJ Steve Lamacq and XFM. Since then they have gained a place in the MTV 2 music charts.

It’s all starting to pay dividends for a band who have been touring pretty much none stop since 2003. Currently they are recording their debut album and have a new single ‘Children’ in summer 2006.
