His team may have lost the match but their is no doubting that Serge Pizzorno grabbed all the attention at this year's Soccer Aid match last night (May 27).
Lining up for the Rest Of The World team alongside ex-pros including Clarence Seedorf and Japp Stam, Serge scored an absolutely delightful goal, chipping the ball over England goalkeeper David Seaman from the left hand side of the field and into the back of the net.
A-List stars Will Ferrell, Mike Myers and Ed Norton could only watch on as Serge put in a Hollywood finish.
Serge dedicated the goal to his bandmate Tom Meighan, who has just become a Father for the first time. "I'm proud of that one," said the guitarist speaking after the game.
Ultimately though, the goal was in vain as Serge and his ROW team mates lost 3-1 to an England team featuring Olly Murs, Robbie Williams, John Bishop and Teddy Sheringham.
