Cat Power has been absent from the music world for six long years but alas, today marks her eagerly anticipated return.

'Ruin' is a gorgeous and delicate introduction to new album 'Sun', the first original follow up to Chan Marshall's 2006 opus 'The Greatest'.

The song is one of many recorded and produced by Marshall as she travelled around the world making music including a stint spent in Miami. The album was mixed by Philip Zdar who has previously worked with Beastie Boys and Phoenix.
