If we asked you what the biggest selling single of the year so far was you'd probably say Gotye or maybe even Carly Rae Jepson. At a push you might plump for Adele, people never stop buying her songs do they?

However, you'd all be wrong as the biggest song of the year thus far belongs to Michel Telo with his track 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego'. The song has been a number one hit in basically every country except the UK (35 countries to be precise) and has sold more than 15million copies around the world.

If you're expecting a war ending, peace promoting song that crosses genre, age and sex barriers in a spectacular blast of music joy then you might be left wanting however. Michel Telo is basically bringing us 'Las Ketchup Song 2012'.

OK, we say Michel Telo but there is actually another man behind this song winding up with a UK release. Never far behind the whiff of a huge one hit wonder, it is actually Simon Cowell and his Syco label that will be putting out 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego' on September 2nd.

The song comes complete with its own dance, one which has been copied by footballers such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Brazilian Neymar out on the pitch.

If you want to be one of the staggering 400 Million (yes, million) viewers to listen to the song on YouTube, take a look below.
