"Whenever anyone's ever said, 'These guys sound like you', I always listen to them, and I always hate them." Somehow, we're five albums in to Kaiser Chiefs' 15 year career, and their conversational filter remains joyfully non-existent.
When we chat to the band on a sunny day ahead of their performance at an exclusive MasterCard Priceless Gig, they speak candidly about their fashion disasters, new album progress and the (few) regrets of their career.
They might have made a few mistakes, both sartorial and otherwise, but Ricky Wilson remains relentlessly optimistic. "You've got to look at it philosophically," he explains, "Because we've ended up here, and it's a pretty good place to be."

And their new album? "It's between 8 and 80% done," they reveal, helpfully. "We don't know what the schedule is, but we're ahead of it."
