More about: Muse
“Yeah I am a Muse fan. I’ve never seen them live unfortunately", Nicholas Hoult tells Gigwise. "I was with a couple of friends a few years back, driving around at two or three in the morning when the car ran out of petrol. Whilst one of our friends was trying to figure out where we were and how we were going to get out of the middle of nowhere, the other two of us just sat there listening to ‘Exogenesis: Symphony’ from Resistance. We were just like, ‘I love this symphony’ for an hour or two."

He adds: "At that point, I had no concerns about the lack of petrol or where were were. I was just thrilled to have a moment with a good sound system to listen to the album.”
While his despicable and ruthless A&R character in Kill Your Friends, Steven Stelfox actively hates music, ("I fucking hate bands", he hilariously spits, despite the fact it's his job to sign new talent) Skins star turned acclaimed movie lead Nicholas Hoult is passionate about what he's listening to - and does indeed have an eclectic taste.
"I’ve been listening to Jamie xx’s album," he goes on. "I really like that and I’ve been going back to a bit of Biggie. We were also just listening to a bit of Amy Winehouse next door. The last gig I went to was Osheaga Festival in Montreal. I got to see Kendrick Lamar and Florence And The Machine did an unbelievable set. It was a good crowd."
