On the precipice of blowing up, London trio WSTRN's familiar blend of Hip Hop, RnB and pop is destined to be a sensation, it's just a matter of time. Their feel-good songwriting is as convective as it is stirring and the trio's individual personalities are reassurance enough the their is still hope for sentimental pop that can inspire skipped heartbeats as much as it can pulsating dancefloors.

The trio formed WSTRN after successful 'vibing' in the studio which cultivated their first, soon to be a hit, single, 'In2'. With massive support coming from the likes of Radio 1Xtra and a dynamite sound to boot, WSTRN have everything set up for them to conquer the world.
Swinging by the Gigwise offices with just the addition of an acoustic guitar and a cajon, WSTRN showcased their dynamite chemistry with one another and the music they create, it's quite a spectacle.

We spoke to WSTRN after their session to discuss their musical backgrounds and what it means to be a successful new artist.
Louis Rei told us about their formation: "It all started in the studio. We came together just to vibe, there was nothing planned, it just happened beautifully. We didn’t even have the intention to make a song, 'In2' was the first thing we layed down and it’s been a beautiful journey since then." Akelle interjected: "the production came first and then he heard that amazing hook.It was the the hook and then it was history."
Speaking to such an up-and-coming band with a almost certain trajectory warrants a discussion of the significance of success: "Success just carries on", Akelle begins: "It’s about how you feel and if you’re happy with the path you’re on. It’s a positive feeling that we try to bring, to make people feel good and successful."
