More Radio Vago

Radio Vago are an all female quintet from the City of Angels. They produce stark, wiry post-punk with interesting twists and turns and retro rockin' organ driven 80s dark pop. They are currently recording their debut slab of noise with former AtDI and The Mars Volta's geetarist Omar Rodriguez on the control knobs.
The band were recently voted 'Best New Band' by readers in a poll for LA Weekly and are set to unleash their live sound onto these here British shores in the near future. Their honed sharp live sound harks back to the likes of Siouxsie & The Banshees, Gang of Four and Bikini Kill.
Livewire front woman Adrienne Pearson leads the band like a woman possessed, losing herself in the bands bleak pummelling sounds. They've already toured with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Icarus Line and are supporting the Mars Volta on the 13th April at the Astoria in London's West End. Their EP 'Black & White Photo Enterprise' will be released the following day. Expect to see this band go extra large with double fries.
You can hear a preview of the EP here www.buddyhead.com/radiovago/, my god we're generous.
