We swear it was only last week that we woke up on January 1st with a New Year's hangover but, alas, it is now half way through 2012 and we have a lot to look back on.

Having had an office discussion we have rounded up 25 of the best albums released so far this year with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Grimes, Sigur Ros and Beach House all making the cut.
