It's been a week of blazing sunshine and Olympic excitement this week, check out the new tracks making us excited these past five days.

Dizzee Rascal goes for gold in this official Olympic song 'Scream'. It's not subtle and it needs less Pepper but this is surely another smash hit for Grime's pop crossover King.

Tame Impala are still sounding like they got stoned in the 60's and somehow ended up releasing music in 2012 on new track 'Elephant'. It's a veritable beast of a song nonetheless.

TVOTR knob twiddler Dave Sitek took time off from his many producion duties to add his subtle style to Usher's huge hit 'Climax'.

Crystal Castles are on the comeback trail with this, their new single 'Plague'. Grab the free downlaod ahead of the Canadian's third album this September.

Burns is the man dating Marina and producing for Rihanna. We think he's pretty good in his own right too though, as his new single 'Lies' goes to show.

Ben Gibbard mourned the loss of his favourite baseball player Ichiro Suzuki in musical style after he left Seattle Mariners to join the New York Yankees this week. We're sure he's err... flattered.

Bat For Lashes laid herself bare in more ways than one this week with the attention grabbing cover art for her new album as well as gifting us 'Laura', the beautiful tear-stained first track.

Tulisa got to number one with her last dreadful single so there is no reason as to why 'Live It Up' shouldn't do the same thing. If anything though, this is actually worse than 'Young'. Yes, really.

Teaming up two great artists doesn't always result in both acts coming away looking great but it's safe to say that Flying Lotus and Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt have proven that sometimes, two are better than one.

Finally, Aluna has cheated on George with another producer! Yes, post-dubstep gossip right here. She has laid down vocals on Rustie's track 'After Light', which you may recognise from the current Adidas TV adverts.
