Sr.Sly (pronunciation is unknown but we are going to speculate at ‘Seriously’) are turning heads with their electro tones and familiar sounding vocals – but who are they?!

According to the band’s Facebook page they reside in Los Angeles, California anymore information though is apparently under wraps. Their page emerged in July but it wasn’t until late August till they unveiled their first song, 'Ghost'.

'Ghost' is a great track and buzz has begun to grow around these mysterious US newcomers. The mellow electro-indie tones of 'Ghost' sit on top of a delightful bass line that gives the track a good structure.  Some oh-so familiar vocals are well timed and melodic and although it is not known who makes up Sr. Sly speculation suggests it could well be a Foster the People side project.

Reports and rumours are leaning towards Foster the People frontman Mark Foster joining up with upcoming indie duo Ko Ko for this project. It is important to note though that Columbia Records insists that no member from Foster The People is involved in the project.

Sitting alongside ‘Ghost’ is ‘Found You Out’, this track is more up tempo and has more of a bite to it and this certainly gives it more of a Foster the People feel. As Sr. Sly are not very forthcoming with information as to who they are, speculation is sure to run wild until everything is revealed.

Unsurprisingly the video for ‘Ghost’ (which you can see below) doesn’t offer much other than a silhouette of one of those ghostly characters from Pac-Man flying through the air. But what's really important is that track is very brilliant indeed...
