Tom Odell has been writing his own music since the age of 13 and now eight years on he is signed to Lily Cooper’s (Allen) record label and is now set to release his new EP, Songs From Another Love. Watch his new video, 'Can't Pretend' below.

The talented young artist has been turning heads with his powerfully beautifully love songs like ‘Sense’ and new single ‘Can’t Pretend.’ ‘Sense’ sees Odell play piano with his soft vocals lying nicely over the top, telling stories of a young man’s life of love and lust. ‘Can’t Pretend’ builds up brilliantly with Odell controlling the tempo with support from a drummer and an acoustic guitarist. The song is more filled out than his other numbers, giving it a real edge and showing another dimension of the singer.

Title track for the forthcoming EP ‘Another Love’ was chosen by Burberry for their Spring/Summer catwalk show at London’s Fashion week, with Lily Cooper (Allen) telling NME;

“When I saw him live his energy onstage reminded me of David Bowie. It's not soppy and moany at all, it's energetic and insightful.”

Tom Odell will release his debut EP ‘Songs From Another Love’ digitally on October 28th. The EP will also be available on a 7” double vinyl on November 12.

Odell is also set to support Jake Bugg on the Nottingham lad’s November tour and play with BBC Sound of 2012 Winner Michael Kiwanuka.
