Brighton four-piece Lion Bark are set for big things in 2014, with a glorious line in swirling indie-pop that mixes the delicacies of Alt-J with the effortless pop charms of Vampire Weekend. Check out their new track, 'Longhorns' below.

The new track is taken from the band's forthcoming debut EP, which is due for release in early 2014, and follows previous, critically acclaimed release 'Two Prongs', which picked up support from BBC Introducing, Clash Magazine and other key taste-makers.

Listen to 'Longhorns' below

Lion Bark describe themselves as simply 'four guys based in Brighton making music', but with sounds as sweet as this, they really ought to up their own expectations. Lion Bark are Guy Bangham (vocals + guitar), Zal Jones (drums), Ozzy Ellis (guitar + vocals) and Josh Erişkin (bass + vocals). Expect to hear a lot more from these guys over the next 12 months.
