One of the most hotly tipped new guitar bands on the scene, Temples are currently gearing up for the release of their debut album, Sun Structure, on 10 February 2014.
The band have found favour with critics and music fans alike with their crafty blend of dreamy sixties rock sounds and modern indie sensibilities, with even Noel Gallagher having spoken of his support for the Northampton four-piece. The band recently performed their most recent single, 'Mesmerise', in a session for online music video channel, Transmitter (who you can subscribe to on YouTube), and have today premiered the performance on Gigwise.
"This song came about not that long ago actually," says frontman James Bagshaw of 'Mesmerise'. "We cancelled a week in Europe to finish the album, and this song came about and it literally just stemmed from the riff. We worked on it and it literally came together in two days.
"I won't tell you about the sentiment of the song. You can figure that our for yourselves."
