Raglans are one of the most exciting new guitar bands on the scene, packed with attitude and standing tall as young masters of irresistable indie hooks. Their debut, self-titled album is released on 24 March 2014, and is streaming exclusively now on Gigwise. Listen below.

Across the album, influences from the folk-rock scene mix with classic indie, and opening track (and future single) 'Digging Holes' sets the tone for the band's debut - upbeat, feelgood guitar pop with a raucous sense of youth. This is reflected in the band's lyrics as well, with single 'Lady Roll Back The Years' dealing with a close encounter with an older woman, who the band refer to as harbouring 'dastardly intentions'. The album boasts a refreshing lack of pretention seen and heard in many new guitar bands, swapping the bravado and posturing for a sense of fun and what it means to be young.

"They're the sort of songs we want people to play at parties, around the campfires, festivals, the lot," says frontman Stephen Kelly. "It was fantastic to be part of an interactive production process with producer Jay Reynolds making sure the tracks sounded exactly how we imagined them."

Raglans release their debut album on 24 March 2014, but you can listen to it in full now. Check it out below.

Raglans are Stephen Kelly, Rhos Horan, Conn O'Ruanaidh and Sean O'Brien. For more information, see the links below.
