Just when you thought Dave Grohl couldn't become any more of a hero, he goes and proves the world wrong. Watch below as the Foo Fighters frontman breaks his leg at a gig - but still continues to play.
The Foos were playing at Gothenburg in Sweden last night (Friday 12 June), when Grohl fell a great height from the stage during 'Monkey Wrench'. He is said to have fell between a gap between a ramp and the audience, tumbling to the ground.
"I think I just broke my leg," said Grohl as he lay on the ground. "I'm going to go to hospital. I'm going to fix my leg. And then I'm going to come back. You have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters - we're going to come back and finish the show."
While medics tended to Grohl backstage, the rest of the band played on with covers sung by drummer Taylor Hawkins, before Grohl came back with his leg in a cast to perform 'All My Life'.
"I may not be able to walk or run but I can still play guitar and scream," Grohl told the crowd. He has since shared the following X-Ray, ouch.
Thank you Gothenburg. That was amazing. pic.twitter.com/BXvuxIfVEv
