Slaves have responded to Sleaford Mods slamming them as 'fucking appalling' and a 'pile of shite' who 'rip them off'.
The ever-outspoken Notts two-piece were talking to Crack Magazine about their opinion on the Tunbridge Wells punk duo, when they took aim and opened fire.
"I think they're a pile of shit," said Jason Williamson. "They're doing my pose in photos, ripping us off."
He continued: "We met them at Beacons festival last year and they asked if me and [bandmate Andrew Fearn] would be interested in writing something for the album, and I said no. They looked like a Matt Bianco sort of thing, and now they're trying to play this working class game. I think they're fucking appalling."
Slaves then came back at the band with some tongue-in-cheek Tweets:
Love ya @sleafordmods ❤️😘

This is not the first time the Mods have slammed another band, having previously attacked Kasabian for their own working class claims. The state of rock n' roll remains open to debate, but Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno thinks the lack of it at the BRIT Awards is a 'conspiracy' - against his and other working class bands.
"I heard that on the radio, I flew into a fucking rage," Williamson told Gigwise. "It really pissed me off, y'know, all these c***ts playing the working class card. You know 'Oh, what kind of example is this setting to the working class kids if we're not on that fucking show?' Really? They said goodbye to their roots a long time ago. Fuck off."
He continued: "What are they saying about the younger generation? What are they saying about the working class? What have they ever said about the working class? Nothing, fuck off. It's like Gallagher, he's the same. Playing up to the working class thing - he still thinks he's working class. No, no no no no - it doesn't work like that mate."
