Glastonbury 2016 may still be just days away, but organisers have confirmed that the headliners for next year's festival have already been booked.

Earlier this year, Emily Eavis teased that 2016's headliners were 'pretty much booked' - adding that they were "always coming up with new ideas and ways to make it better".

Now, she's revealed that things for 2016 are very much concrete.

"We've got three headliners for next year, so that's completely sorted," she told Digital Spy. "We're in a really good position in that respect because it means we can now focus on the rest of the bill."

She continued: "Every year the bands that are touring are completely different, so you never know quite who's going to be around. It might be some years it's heavier in one way, and some is lighter in the other.

"This year I think it's an incredibly diverse lineup. We just try to make sure that if there's two bands of a similar nature, that they're not playing at exactly the same time."

Eavis added:  "Sometimes there's a bit of a crossover, but we try to have it so there aren't too many bad clashes. Obviously they are some, but that's just something we work on."

Glastonbury 2015 kicks off at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset from Wedesday 24 June - Sunday 28 June, with headline performances from Florence + The Machine, Kanye West and The Who, alongside Paul Weller, Patti Smith, Wolf Alice, Ryan Adams and many more.
