Grace Jones has revealed the release date and cover for her forthcoming book, ‘I’ll Never Write My Memoirs’.
The memoir, which will be released September 29 via Gallery Books, covers “her life from rooming with Jerry Hall to collaborating with Andy Warhol to appearing opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger”, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Jones had previously discussed the meaning behind the title ‘I’ll Never Write My Memoirs’ in a statement, explaining: "I wrote a song called ‘Art Groupie’. First line said 'I'll never write my memoirs' — that was a long time ago. Since then, I thought, if I don't do it, somebody else will."

Jones, who was born in Jamaica, moved to the US as a teenager and signed on as a model at the age of 17, subsequently moving to Paris. She then returned to New York to record three disco albums and to work as an actress, appearing in films such as Conan The Destroyer and A View To Kill.
Grace Jones will be performing alongside Lenny Kravitz and Lauryn Hill at this year’s Afropunk Festival, which is being held from August 22-23 at Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park. You can view the rest of her upcoming tour itinerary below.
