We never really had Billy Corgan down as a fan of theme parks... and now a viral photo has solidified our suspicions.
Smashing Pumpkins are currently midway through a US tour alongside Marilyn Manson, showcasing tracks from their 2014 album Monuments To An Elegy. They've got a few days off scheduled here and there though, and Corgan used one of these to take a trip to Disneyland.
Now, a photo of the Smashing Pumpkins frontman clinging miserably to the bars of a rather tame looking ride has begun circulating on Twitter, courtesy of US Weekly. Sadly, Manson wasn't there.

Coincidentally, the singer recently used his disinterest in rides as an analogy for the problems with being a songwriter. "It's a little bit like going to Disneyland," he told Loudwire, "and looking at all of the rides from the perspective of the construction as opposed to joy."
He continued, "I don't know. It's hard for me to listen to songs clearly anymore...In many ways I don't listen to popular music like I used to. I mostly just listen to classical music."
Meanwhile, Corgan recently lamented the lack of evolution in rock today - claiming that Radiohead were the last guitar band to do anything new.
"If you look at most alternative rock music in 2015, it hasn’t really evolved for 20 years," he said. "We get our asses kicked by EDM or some of these artists that are more keyboard and drum machine and reverb."
He added, "They’re engaging in new technology. Guitar isn’t new technology - there are only so many ways you can warp it around. Radiohead was probably the last band that really did anything new with the guitar."
