A collection of Kurt Cobain's solo material is set to be released on a new album in November.
Following the release of Brett Morgen's recent documentary, Montage Of Heck, Universal Music have announced that the as-yet-untitled album will feature all of the music in the film, as well as additional tracks, "audio montages" and a comedy sketch.
A 6 November release date has been earmarked to coincide with the film's physical release.

Speaking to Billboard, Morgen said: "These are all just Kurt by himself with the guitar. These aren’t multi-track, finished songs or work-ups, but they’re extraordinary, and I think they provide a tremendous insight into his [creative] process. I think they further our understanding of Kurt, both as a musician and as a man."
A demo tape rumoured to belong to Cobain's first band recently surfaced online.
