Bloc Party unveil new line-up, debut two new songs

Bloc Party played their first gig in two years in California this week, where they played two new songs. Watch fan shot footage of the new material below.

The show at The Glasshouse in Pomona, California also marked the first time the band's new incarnation have performed together. Following the departures of drummer Matt Tong and bassist Gordon Moakes, the band have recruited Louise Bartle on drums, andb Justin Harris on bass. 

To mark the new era, the band debuted two new songs from the album they've "just finished recording" - 'Edon' and 'Exes'.

The band's forthcoming fifth album will serve as the follow-up to 2012's Four. In an interview with Australia's Triple J radio, frontman Kele Okereke revealed that it sounds "like nothing that we've done before."
