Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis has revealed that the next two instalments of headliners have already been booked.
With daughter Emily Eavis having previously confirmed that 2016's headliners have already been booked, Michael Eavis has now revealed that they've decided and booked their headline acts for the next two years.
BBC Radio 1 reporter Sinéad Garvan spoke to Eavis on Tuesday night (September 8) at the AIM Awards, the Glastonbury chief stated that four of the six booked headliners have featured on the bill before and two are completely new.
This follows on from reports from The Sun that states that there are "initial plans, which are very early stages" for Miley Cyrus to perform at the Worthy Farm festival.
"Miley's been on the Eavis radar for a while," a source allegedly told the tabloid paper: "She's outrageous and there was interest in previous years, around the time of her 'Bangerz' tour last year and when her godmother Dolly Parton played".
Glastonbury recently announced the release dates for the 2016 festival. Glasto will happen betweeen 22 and 26 June with standard tickets avaliable for purchase from 9am Sunday 4 October.
