"Who does she think she is?" A question usually asked of someone who's gotten a little too big for their boots, who thinks they're more important than they are, and has developed delusions of grandeur. Not a question usually asked of the biggest pop star on the planet.
That is exactly what former X Factor winner Sam Bailey asked, somewhat puzzlingly, of Beyonce in a new interview. The singer won the talent show back in 2013, and one of her prizes was to support Beyonce at her Birmingham concert.
It might have sounded like an opportunity of a lifetime, but there was one thing missing - Beyonce never found the time to come to Sam Bailey's dressing room to meet her. At the time, Bailey underplayed the snub in interviews, but she's since had a change of heart.
"I supported Beyoncé as part of my X Factor prize, but she didn't even bother to meet me," she told The Sunday Times Magazine. "I'd never do that. I'd have the decency to say hello. Who does she think she is?"
In fairness, she makes a valid point - it's just that last question that is somewhat perplexing. Who does Beyonce think she is? Well, Beyonce, that's who.
As for Sam Bailey, she was dropped by Simon Cowell's SyCo label after just 14 months.
