Often the finest moments of Glastonbury are not the headliners, but the Sunday special guest for those awesome sing-alongs. Just think back to Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie and try not to smile.

Well, next year looks like it could be one for all time - with both The Faces and Leo Sayer throwing their hats into the ring.

"I just wish someone would phone us up from Glastonbury and ask us to do that," Rod Stewart told BBC Radio London. "They have never done it. We would be up for it. There are only three of us standing now."

Meanwhile, Leo Sayer was on Loose Women this week (we know, right? Were you watching?) when he said of Glastonbury: "Oh it's on the cards, man! Why not? I mean, there's that nice little slot where they put people like Al Green - legendary artists, and yeah, I could do that hands down. I'm sorry, I'm not being flash but bring it on!"

We'll have to wait to find out. Often the odd one-off names, headliners and such are released before Christmas, but the full line-up won't be announced until the Spring.

That didn't stop tickets selling out in under 30 minutes this weekend. Meanwhile, Muse have also added that they'd like to headline next year, while Adele, Coldplay and Foo Fighters are bookies' favourites

Below: All the rumours for who could headline Glastonbury 2016
