Fans of The Last Shadow Puppets, this could be the moment that you've all been waiting for - it looks like a new album is on the way.
Miles Kane and Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner pulled off one of the best collaborations and side-projects of the century so far when they dropped the Mercury-nominated The Age Of Understatement in 2008.
The duo have since frequently guested on stage with one another to perform Last Shadow Puppets songs, but other than losing their shit to The Strokes during their Hyde Park gig this summer, all had seemingly gone quiet on the LSP front.
But now, it seems as if the wait for a second album may finally be over. Owen Pallett, the Arcade Fire member and acclaimed solo artist, arranged strings on Last Shadow Puppets' debut. Now, fans are excited after he tweeted a strong hint that not only was progress on a new record well underway but has just reached 'classic status'.
The Tweet has since been deleted, but here it is:

Spokesmen for Pallett and The Last Shadow Puppets are yet to confirm or deny the claims.
Last year, the duo also revealed that they were working on an 'X Men style' film together, which is mental.
"It's something we always talk about y'know?" said Kane. "But I think we're gonna write this film first anyway before we hit back into that. "It's gonna have a sort of X-Men kind of vibe and sort of set in the '60s, but I can't give anymore away than that."
Kane added: "We're not planning to be [in the film] but we may have a little cameo."
