The band have been touring relentlessly in support of their globe-conquering self-titled debut album, but now they tell us that all of their tour commitments are done and they're coming off the road to 'hibernate' and return to the studio. The first taster of the next album came when they debuted the massive new song 'Hook, Line And Sinker' at Reading & Leeds Festival back in August.
"I think that song came about a few months before Reading," frontman Mike Kerr told Gigwise at the Q Awards, where the band, where the band picked up the prize for Best Live Act. "We were so desperate to play it, so we did. The writing process really has just begun. Maybe that's like, the weirdest song on the record, I don't know yet - it's hard to say."
When asked if they'd been writing whilst touring, Kerr replied: "I think that sound-checking in those echo-ey rooms can be a part of the creative process, but to be honest with you, I find writing on the road a little stale. It's not a very inspiring place really to write, we're there to tour, to gig and to focus on the show. Already having been back home, I think it's proof that we much prefer doing it that way."

Before they left, we also asked them which new rising rock bands they thought would follow in their footsteps.
"Tigercub from Brighton - they'e just released an eight-track," Kerr told us. "They're a great band - you don't know about them yet, but you just heard it from me first so go and check them out.
