There have been months of speculation around the 'All My Friends' and 'Someone Great' dance-rock heroes, after reunion rumours were unleashed and then denied back in October. The whisperings then surfaced again last week, after the band released their comeback song 'Christmas Will Break Your Heart'.
Well, not only have the band been confirmed to headline Coachella alongside Guns N' Roses and Calvin Harris, but the band have posted a brief bulletin on their website under the headline 'standing in front of people doing things loudly' that simply reads '2016 tour dates coming soon'.
Consequence Of Sound reports that this comes after a multi-million dollar offer from AEG Live who have secured the band for 'several other prominent music festivals across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe'.
LCD Soundsystem played their 'final' ever show at New York's Madison Square Garden back in 2011 - the concert was immortalised in the film Shut Up And Play The Hits and the live album The Long Goodbye.
