Never one to mince his words, Father John Misty has uploaded a bunch of awesome spoof ads - mocking Pandora, Ed Sheeran and James Bay. Check them out below.
Misty, who was named Gigwise's best live act of 2015 before returning to tour this year, has taken aim at US streaming service Pandora and their powers of promotion.
"This is Father John Misty, and Pandora wants to promote my tour, and are offering eleven million impressions across their platform in return for not much," he says in one ad uploaded to his Soundcloud. "It's a win, both because it's free tour advertising and marketing, and because my music has yet to catch on on the platform. This is common for bands who are not quite mainstream. Our hope is that it will help me sell tickets and kick-start my music on Pandoraaaa."
Taking on Ed Sheeran, he continues: “Hello fans, this is Father John Misty. Whether you’re snorting rails of Tide off priceless Matisse cutouts or stuck at home because of your dismal Uber rating, my customized mixtape is guaranteed to be 100% Ed Sheeran. That’s Ed Sheeran all the time on Father John Misty radio.”
As for James Bay: "Hi, this is Father John Misty. People ask me all the time what they can expect from my upcoming tour and I show them a picture of me on the cover of The Daily Mail clutching a human foot - to they respond, 'I'm sorry, I thought you were James Bay. Thanks for listening."

Misty made headlines last year when he trolled fans for filming him during a gig, and took a sideways swipe at Ryan Adams for covering Taylor Swift's 1989.
