Queen's current frontman Adam Lambert has yet another achievement to add to his ever-growing list, as he's now been named the highest earning American Idol star. His net worth continues to grow.
Last year saw Lambert continue to tear up the road as touring frontman of Queen, as well as launching his new album, The Original High. As a result, Forbes now reports he is the highest-earning American Idol star of 2015 - taking home a massive $10million.
Not bad, considering he was a runner-up in season 8 of the US show.
He comes ahead of Carrie Underwood who made $8million last year, Chris Daughtry who took home $6 million for his work with eponymous band Daughtry- while season 11 winner Phillip Phillips came fourth with $5 million, and Scotty McCreery and Kelly Clarkson tied at fifth place with $4 million in the year.
The final series of American Idol airs on 4Music exclusively from Monday 11 January at 8pm.
"He brings new blood; he brings enthusiasm, energy and opportunity," Queen guitarist Brian May tells Gigwise of Lambert. "How could we do this without him? If you looked for someone like that you would never find them."
