The stars came out to pay tribute to a rock n' roll hero, with the likes of Dave Grohl, Slash and more honouring Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister at his funeral and memorial service in LA yesterday. Watch the service in full below.
The rock legend was laid to rest and remembered with a service at the Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood, after he passed away last month when his health deteriorated and he lost his battle to cancer, aged 70.
The world paid their respects too, as the star's full memorial service was streamed online.
Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl, who had a long friendship and working relationship with Lemmy and even invited him to cameo in the Foos' 'White Limo' video, told the emotional story of meeting the frontman and becoming his friend, before closing his eulogy by quoting the Little Richard song 'Precious Lord Take My Hand'. Watch Grohl's speech in full below.
Guns N' Roses icon Slash too remembered the hero, adding:
"He was such a fucking great example that much of my peers want to be. He was just true to school and had more integrity in one finger than most rock and rollers."
Anthrax's Ian Scott and Judas Priest's Rob Halford also paid tribute - watch the full service below.
Meanwhile, Motorhead recently crashed into the top 20 after fans campaigned to get 'Ace Of Spades' to No.1, while there is also a petition for a new element in the periodic table to be named after Lemmy - while others are calling for the drink Jack Daniels and Coke to be renamed after the late, great frontman.
