In the age of the internet, trying to pass off someone else's photo as your own is never a good idea. It's an even worse idea when you're Britney Spears.
That didn't stop Britney from posting the photo below onto Instagram this week, alongside the caption, "It's honestly too good to be true mmmm."
As it turns out, it was too good to be true. As one eagle-eyed Twitter user pointed out, the singer had just googled "Mexican corn" and clicked on literally the first picture to come up on Google images.
The picture was, in fact, taken from a recipe for Mexican Grilled Corn posted by the Food Network.

Meanwhile, earlier this year Spears go stuck to a tree while performing in Las Vegas. She's also, in the interests of balance, one of the most enduringly popular and culturally important pop stars of this noughties. She's just a corn thief too.
