He may have left us, but it looks like we can still expect more new releases from David Bowie - with it emerging that the late, great icon planned a string of posthumous releases prior to his death.
It had previously been reported that not only are there five unheard songs from final album Blackstar to be released, but that Bowie had started demoing new tracks for one more album in the weeks leading up to his death.
Now, Newsweek claims that Bowie has set up a number of records and releases celebrating his career that will be 'divided into eras', but "will not necessarily be released in chronological order". The first in the series is set to arrive in 2017. It is yet to be announced whether or not said releases will feature new or unheard music, but with an artist as prolific as Bowie, one can only hope and assume that there's a fair bit of stuff leftover in the vaults.
Bowie released his amazing fina album Blackstar on his 69th birthday, just days before his death. The album has dominated the charts worldwide since - even selling out of copies on vinyl.
