As their ever-skyward ascent continues, Catfish + The Bottlemen have been confirmed to headline this year's Liverpool Sound City Festival.
Joining hometown heroes The Coral at the top of the bill, rising Welsh indie pin-ups Catfish + The Bottlemen have been revealed as the second headliner, which is impressive as they first played the event as an unsigned band just five years ago. Their debut album has since gone gold and they're selling out pretty massive venues.
Not only that, but Palma Violets, Georgia, Viola Beach, Shura, Neon Waltz, Inheaven, Levelz, Mez, Dilly Dally, The Big Moon, Kagoule, and Holy Esque have also been added, while dance music promoters Freeze who will bring Hot Chip (DJ set), and Leftfield (Live) to The Freeze Warehouse alongside Floating Points, Ame, Henrik Schwarz, DJ Koze, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Mano le Tough, John Talabot, Gerd Janson, and Greg Wilson.
They join the previously announced headliners The Coral, alongside Circa Waves, Sleaford Mods, Dandy Warhols, Young Fathers, and Band of Skulls.
Liverpool Sound City takes place from 27-29 May at Bramley Moore Dock. For tickets and more information, visit here.
