All Saints have revealed their comeback single, 'One Strike', which was inspired by Nicole Appleton's split from Liam Gallagher. Listen to it below.
It's the band's first new release in over a decade, taken from their forthcoming album, Red Flag, which is set for release on 8 April.
Shaznay Lewis recently revealed that the song was inspired by bandmate Nicole Appleton's split from Oasis' Liam Gallagher.
"The lyrics came from somewhere very real," Lewis told NME. "Nic was going through a lot of things at that time. That was at the forefront of my mind because it was the heaviest thing going on."
"With one strike my world lights up in a fire," goes the song's chorus. "Don't need hindsight / I'll make my emotions clear and then disappear."
All Saints have had a couple of ill-fated comebacks since they first split back in 2001. In 2009, Melanie Blatt told London Lite, "All Saints are never getting back together again." She changed her mind.
All Saints play London's KOKO on 4 April. Tickets go on sale this Friday (26 February) at 9am. Get tickets and more information here.
