The final slot at the top of the bill will be shared by Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy, while Chvrches, Haim, The Vaccines, A$AP Rocky, Travi$ Scott, Jack Garratt, The Wombats, Savages, Die Antwoord, Skindred, Blossoms, Maximo Park, The Neighbourhood are also among the new additions.
Also now performing over the weekend will be Sigma, Krept & Konan, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Protoje, Section Boyz, Raleigh Richie, Lady Leshurr, DJ Semtex and Yunge.
Joining the previously announced headliners of Red Hot Chili Peppers and double-header Foals and Disclosure, Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy complete the top of the bill - making for five headliners across the weekend. Biffy headlined for the first time back in 2013 and have a new album on the way, while fellow veterans Fall Out Boy have also been in studio and make the leap to headline after working their way to where they stand now at R+L.
“This year really is a big one for Reading and Leeds," said festival boss Melvin Benn. "Five headliners across three days – it’s a first for us and the UK Festival scene. We’re always looking to give Reading and Leeds fans something new and this year isn’t going to disappoint. Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy are going to be incredible.”
The line-up also features The 1975, The Courteeners and many more.
Reading & Leeds takes place from 26-28 August 2016, and you can get tickets and more information here.
