Former Guns N Roses guitarist, Izzy Stradlin, has launched a Twitter account to declare that he will not be involved with the band’s reunion shows in April.
Even though the guitarist was absent from the confirmed reunion line-up, there was still speculation regarding whether Stradlin would appear during the tour. According to Consequence of Sound, the band’s former manager, Alan Niven had even suggested that Stradlin was writing and recording with the band.
To clear the air, Stradlin created a Twitter account and posted the following.

In a voicemail to Rolling Stone, Stradlin said, "I know there's a lot of questions regarding my Twitter account, but it's me. I opened the Twitter account. There was just so much speculation going on regarding my involvement and studio recording. There’s so much misinformation, so I wanted to clarify that I'm not in the studio recording with any of the Guns N' Roses guys. At this point in time, I'm not involved in the actual shows ... A lot of stuff [fans] are reading isn't true."
The rocker later added, “I’m not in the studio recording with any of the Guns N’ Roses guys. At this point in time, I’m not involved in the actual shows … A lot of stuff [fans] are reading isn’t true.”
The Guns N Roses reunion line-up will consist of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.
