More about:

The 1975 have broken an unusual record with the success of their second album - the longest-ever album title to reach No.1 in the US.

The band followed up their self-titled debut with the release of I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It at the end of last month. It comes to a whopping 20 syllables and 71 characters.

As Billboard reports, its 71 characters makes it the longest-ever album title at No.1 in the US (and the band's first ever). LL Cool J's G.O.A.T. Featuring James T. Smith: The Greatest of All Time previously held the record previously, at a paltry 59 characters.

Ed Sheeran's going to work a little harder than + and x if he wants to take the crown with his third album.
