The UK's richest music millionaires and stars under 30 have been revealed, along with their net worth. See below for the net worth of Adele, Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, U2, David Bowie, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding and more.
The updated wealth of musicicans for 2016 comes from the latest Sunday Times Rich List, due to be published over the weekend. It shows that former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell top the overall list with a combined wealth of £760million - making £30million in the last year.
They come ahead of Lord Lloyd-Webber with a wealth of £715million, U2's combined net worth of £500million, Sir Elton John with £280million and Rolling Stone Sir Mick Jagger's impressive wad of £235million.
A new entry in the top ten comes with the late Beatle George Harrison's widow and son, Olivia and Dhani Harrison, coming in sixth place with £220million.
Elsewhere, David Bowie's widow and son, supermodel Iman Abdulmajid and filmmaker Duncan Jones are placed at 29 on the list with a combined wealth of £90million, which includes their own wealth and money inherited from the Thin White Duke. Details of Bowie's will emerged earlier this year, showing that he amassed a fortune of $100million during his prolific, five decade career - leaving a will instructing for his wealth to be shared among his wife Iman Abdulmajid Jones, his two children Duncan Jones and Alexandria Jones, his longtime personal assistant Corinne Schwab, and his family’s former nanny Marion Skene.
