Here's what happened when Gary Barlow crashed a superfan's birthday

It's probably every mum's dream...

Gary Barlow turned up unannounced at superfan Jo Chapman's 40th bash and serenaded her with Take That hit, 'Greatest Day'. Get ready to hear a cacophony of excited squawking.

The former X-Factor judge had serenaded over six newlyweds last year, stating each gig had been "meaningful and amazing" to the Daily Mail. But, now he's making a habit of turning up at birthdays to surprise lucky fans. Here's what he told twitter recently:

Gary Barlow was definitely good to his word. Jo, from Kent, spent months rallying friends and family in a campaign to get to meet her idol, including putting posters up in her car, on lampposts and friends’ windows.

After hearing nothing from the star Jo assumed the dream was over, she told Kent Online, "Never in a million years did I think he'd actually come. The DJ played my favourite Take That song Everything Changes and when that finished I thought 'well that's it now'...Then Greatest Day started and I saw him. It's still sinking in that I met him".

Watch the hilarious video here, which would probably have gotten the same reaction if the song came on a bit later on in the night, minus Barlow.

WARNING: this video contains screaming of the very shrill, and one-too-many glasses of prosecco, kind.

Phoebe, Jo's daughter tweeted to thank the star:

Recently, rumours have surfaced that Robbie Williams was set to re-join Take That for their 25th anniversary tour.

Take That will be performing at Barclaycard British Summer Time this summer, and tickets are on sale now. For tickets and more information, visit here.

Take That will play:

Saturday 9 July - London - Hyde Park
