Richard Fortus says he and his Guns N’ Roses bandmates are constantly rehearsing new material.

In a recent interview the former Dead Daisies member has stated that the re-formed rockers he joined in early 2016 have been the most intense he has ever seen.

Fortus has been astounded by just how much rehearsing the band have been doing.

There has been some extremely hard-work on their new material and he has been amazed how highly interested they (the original band members of Axl Rose, Duff McKagan and Slash) are in their performances and the rejuvenation in the way they are presenting themselves to their loyal fans.

The guitarist via a video interview for ‘Gretch’ said that he had been working harder with the band in one year, than during the last fourteen years he has been associated with them.

Fortus and keyboardist Dizzy Reed joined Guns N’ Roses in January 2016 for the bands Las Vegas and the Conchella comeback shows earlier this year.

The band then went on to sign up to the sell-out ‘Not In Their Lifetime’ world tour and are continuing to pack out arenas everywhere they are due to appear in.

Fortus has also said that the new material is the best yet and will see GNR back at their best.

We can expect new Guns N’ Roses songs at some point in 2017 it would appear, but we can also according to rumours and hints perhaps see them live at one of the UK’s big music festivals in that year too. Having Axl, Duff, Slash and Co. on the bill would surely sell out Download, Glastonbury and pretty much any other festival the UK boasts.

The last official Guns N’ Roses release was the long-awaited and reasonable Axl heavy release ‘Chinese Democracy’. It lacked the input of Slash and Co. and that was noticeable in the overall production and delivery, yet it did get Axl back on the stage again.

This newly reborn version of GNR is the one thing we never thought we would see and they may well hit the UK shores in 2017, sell-out arenas worldwide and blow festival stage attendees away all in one short burst.

This coming year may well be the one where we all say where were you when Guns N’ Roses played at……
