Snoop Dogg will help induct the late Tupac Sakaur into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame when the ceremony takes place in Brooklyn, NYC, on April 7.
TMZ reports that a mini Death Row Records reunion could take place with the news that Snoop Dogg – who’s already confirmed for the event – could be joined by Dr Dre for a three-song musical tribute to Shakur that could include a version of ‘California Dreaming’.
Snoop Dogg and Tupac worked together on ‘2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted’ on Shakur’s 1986 album, All Eyez On Me.
Dr Dre was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame last year when NWA were enshrined.
The 32nd Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Klipsch Audio, will take place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Also being inducted are ELO, Joan Baez, Journey, Pearl Jam, Yes and Nile Rodgers.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Pearl Jam are looking to evoke the spirit of Spinal Tap as they hope to reunite with as many as their old drummers as possible for the event.
Speaking of the possible reunion, Pearl Jam said: “We do feel fortunate to be recognised and provided the opportunity to reunite with everyone who has been part of the group.
"Specifically the drummers who all left their distinctive mark on our band in the pre-Matt Cameron years.
"Dave Krusen, Matt Chamberlain, Dave Abbruzzese and Jack Irons are each individually great players who gave their all to the early recordings and live gigs.”
