Liam Gallagher's first solo single 'Wall Of Glass' will premiere on Radio 1 this evening (May 31).

Fresh from playing his first solo show last night at Manchester Ritz, the rock 'n' roll star will drop his highly-anticipated first single 'Wall Of Glass' at 7:30 on MistaJam's Radio 1 show. He'll also be in the studio to chat about his return.

Gallagher took to Twitter (obviously) to share the exciting news.

LG aired the track at his Manchester show last night, along with a number of other new songs such as 'Greedy Soul', 'Bold', It Doesn't Have To Be That Way' and 'You'd Better Run. You'd Better Hide'.

Unsurprisingly, he showcased some Oasis classics, too. 'Rock 'n' Roll Star', 'Slide Away', 'Be Here Now' and 'Live Forever' all made the cut.

Elsewhere, Liam Gallagher appeared on the Glastonbury line-up poster yesterday, and was then removed. He's therefore likely to be taking one of the TBA slots on the bill.

Interestingly, Noel Gallagher will also be on site - providing an intro to a screening of Oasis documentary Supersonic. Could we see a Worthy Farm reunion between the estranged brothers?
