Arcade Fire have revealed their brilliant disco-laced comeback single 'Everything Now' and have given details on the new album of the same name, out July 28. Check out the official video and LP artwork below.

After teasing the start of their new era earlier this week with mysterious video clips and posters, the Canadian powerhouse sent their fandom into meltdown as new material edged ever closer. Today, the band began an online 'live' stream from Death Valley in California leading up to the reveal of their new material.

Now, as confirmed earlier today, the band's new track has just premiered as the Hottest Record In The World on Mistajam's Radio 1 show. And what a return it is.

'Everything Now' continues down the disco-inspired path set out by previous LP Reflektor, and features production from Daft Punk's Thomas Bengalter and Pulp's Steve Mackey. Its infectious rhythm and joyous ABBA-esque hook are blended with Win Butler's emotive vocals and classic stadium-strong chants. Oh, and they've thrown in some pipes for good measure. Arcade Fire sound ready to party with this one, and we're loving it.

You might notice that said chants are those Win Butler sampled from the crowd at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience last year. Butler asked the New Orleans fans, "Do you wanna be on our record?" before leading them through the vocal line while on stage last October.

The band surprised fans yesterday when they added a 12" vinyl of the new single to a merch stand at Primavera festival in Barcelona, where they'll top the bill this Saturday.

UPDATE: It's currently being reported on Twitter that a 360 stage has appeared in a Primavera carpark, with fans noticing Arcade Fire's gear being set up. Head to @ArcadeFireTube for the latest on this secret show.

Post Primavera, the band will head to sunny Scunthorpe (we still don't get it) to play a warm up show for their Isle Of Wight Festival headline slot. Intimate shows are also scheduled to take place at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange, along with two dates at London's York Hall. Elsewhere in larger settings, the band will head to Belfast’s Ormeau Park, Dublin’s Malahide Castle and Manchester Castlefield Bowl.

Summer 2017 belongs to Arcade Fire.

Everything Now is out July 28 and features 13 tracks. Check out the artwork below.
