Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee Be Your Own Pet are the new sound of teenage rebellion. Launching onto the British scene with debut single 'Damn, Damn Leash' they signalled their intent with a short sharp blast of exhilarating noise. Follow up single "Fire Department' continued in a similar vein. In lead singer Jemina they boast a true star destined to make the boys and girls go crazy.

Backed up by a firecracker of a band they look set to go far. Having supported the likes of The Kills and fellow southern boys Kings of Leon the band kick a mean live punch.

Newest single 'Adventure' reached the lower end of the Top 40 in March 2006 and new album simply titled 'Be Your Own Pet' is set for release on March 27th. The band are so confident of their tunes that they have left their first two singles off the LP.

Signed to XL recordings, home to Dizzee Rascal and The White Stripes, everything is in place for Be Your Own Pet to take the charts and peoples hearts by storm.
