Based in Morden, London, Good Shoes are a young four piece band consisting of high school chums Rhys Jones, Steve Leach, Rhys’ brother Tom, and Joel Cox. They started writing songs during their time in high school, and already had 15 songs before recruiting Joel. Their first main gig came on Eel Pie Island, at a secret party thrown by Mystery Jets.

Their debut single, ‘Small Town Girl/Nazanin’ was released in September on Brille Records (they were the first ever signings to this label as well) which was a hit in indie disco’s all around the UK, with its agitated pop style. Their next release came in the form of ‘We Are Not The Same’ EP which was met with great reviews.

They have recently toured with numerous bands, including Be Your Own Pet, Art Brut and The Long Blondes, gaining them an ever growing reputation.
