Wolf & Cub Close To Finishing Debut Album

One of Gigwise’s top tips for 2006 Wolf and Cub are close to finishing their debut album they have revealed.

Front man Joel Byrne reporting from the bands studio in Glasgow said: “Finally. It's coming along well and we're all very desperate for it's completion it's been very difficult for us and such along process but we're confident that it's going to worth it.”

Byrne added that the band have decided to use all previously unreleased tracks on the album, saying: “There will be about 11 tracks I reckon, about 5 new tacks and the rest are tracks that we've been playing live for a long time, no EP tracks which we’re happy about.”

The band, signed to 4AD, released their debut UK single 'Steal Their Gold/Thousand Cuts' in 2005. As of yet there is no date set for the album release.
