Vocals - Pete Doherty Guitar - Patrick Walden Bass - Drew McConnel Drums -  Adam Ficek   Babyshambles need no introduction; a tabloid’s wet dream of rock-star excess and fallings out, formed by ex-Libertiner Pete Doherty. Kicked out of said Libertines for being a crack/smack head, Pete's new musical vehicle is erratic to say to the least.   Going to see Babyshambles is gig Russian roulette; the best-case scenario is that they’ll actually turn up, but more likely than not they’ll cancel without notice or Pete will forget his words, drop his guitar and roll off the stage encrusted in his own vomit. It’s been a manic year for the band, who’ve been smeared across the red tops pretty much everyday for Pete’s shenanigans with a certain groupie cat walk queen - and a queen of a different mould – when he fucked up his Live8 duet with Elton John.

Add to that their infamous Oasis tour sacking and the music could go unnoticed. But beneath the layers of drugs, debauchery and Kate Moss canoodling, nestle singles 'Killamangiro' and 'Fuck Forever', a couple of indie-pop corkers to remind us that Pete has a talent for more than just crack and crack-whores.   The debut album is out on 10 October.
