A judge in New York has issued an arrest warrant for rapper DMX after he failed to appear in court on Wednesday to face several driving related charges.
The warrant was issued by City Court Judge Barbara Leak after the proceedings had been delayed twice due to the hip hop star not turning up.
DMX, real name Earl Simmons, is charged with driving without a licence, speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.
According to the BBC his lawyer Stacey Murray said he had been ill and that he would definitely turn up in court on Thursday.
However, Judge Leak said: "We have granted him a number of courtesies. It ends now."
As previously reported on Gigwise DMX was stopped by police on June 2 in White Plains, New York for making dangerous lane changes.
On June 11 he was stopped again after being involved in a crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway, New York when he tried to avoid a traffic jam by driving up the hard shoulder.
