More Clinic Surgical mask wearing musical oddities Clinic are set to return this autumn with a new album.
The cult band will release ‘Visitations’ through Domino records, tentatively on October 9.
The follow-up to 2004’s ‘Winchester Cathedral’ was recorded in the band’s newly constructed studio in their native Liverpool.
Speaking to Billboard, frontman Ade Blackburn said: "Compared to 'Winchester Cathedral,' its a lot more direct and more upbeat.
"We think of it as more of a proggy sounding album. A lot of it was more designed to play live, rather than relying on the studio more."
Moving on, he explained: "On previous albums, it’s been exploring darker sides of behaviour. This one goes beyond that and focuses on seeing simplicity, accepting other people for what they are, rather than over analyzing people."
The full album tracklisting is as follows:
Family
Animal/Human
Gideon
Harvest (Within You)
Tusk
Paradise
Children of Kellogg
If You Could Read Your Mind
Jigsaw Man
Interlude
The New Seeker
Visitations
